Hi! ^ That's me, Madelyn.

A little about me: I'm currently employed as a photojournalist at KOMO News in sunny Seattle. Before I landed in Seattle, I've worked at Fox 46 Charlotte, MLive/Muskegon, and the Youngstown Vindicator. I'm a proud graduate of Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication, where I earned a B.S. in Visual Communication focusing on photojournalism and anthropology. I started my work in storytelling through print media and newspapers. Eventually, I found a similar love for multimedia and video storytelling, which led me to switch to the dark side of television. No matter the media, I'm passionate about telling the stories of the people in my community.
